Positive: The apartment is outdated but has basic amenities which makes it suitable for a short stay. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and well organised. The staff were all very friendly and asked us about our holiday in Mauritius. Parking is available on-site which is a massive bonus for anyone with a car.
Negative: The check-in process felt rushed as the owner quickly showed us the apartment and said that reception would explain the rest in the morning. The check-in instructions were also unclear with no information on how to be let in through the complex front gates. We pressed the buzzer and no one answered so we ended up calling the owner and he drove over to let us in. For context, we arrived at 6:30pm local time and was expecting the reception to be manned (which it wasn't at that hour).

Positive: The breakfast was great and we had a variety to choose from. The host was really nice, he kept in contact while we were still in South Africa and even when we arrived he kept in contact and was very responsive. He was also very helpful on arranging transportation for run which he negotiated a very good price for us. He also went out of his way to go get us the essentials we needed. We would definitely go back there.

The villa itself is a gem—beautifully designed and maintained, with stunning views. The location was perfect; it was peaceful and serene, yet still close to everything. The comfort level was top-notch, with cozy rooms, plush furnishings, and every little detail thoughtfully considered. As for the food, it was just delicious! Each meal felt like a special treat, full of flavor and made with care. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every dish was perfectly prepared and fresh. Overall, The Light Villa exceeded all expectations. The combination of incredible hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and impeccable comfort made for an unforgettable stay. Positive: The place was very clean and well maintained. I apreciate the breakfast which was fresh and tasty (omelette, bread, cheese, jam and fresh fruit). We also enjoyed the pool for an evening swimm. The rooms vere clean and spacious, equipped with a small kitchen and AC. The host was very helpfull and it was easy to communicate (about the keys etc.)
Negative: The bed was making some noises, but overall it was not that bad, because we stayed only one night.
